Artist Talk Hamish Fulton, Uschi Demeter & Christian Ganzenberg Chesa Merleda, La Punt Take the chance to experience Hamish Fulton, the famous British artist of conceptual and land art in an art talk with the author and mountaineer Uschi Demeter and the curator Christian Ganzenberg. The artist is well-known for his hiking tours over all continents. These tours last a day, a week or some months. He documents his personal experiences with photographs, texts, with drawings, sometimes directly made on a wall, or with works of wood. With all these objects he tells us something about duration, weather and date of the hiking tour and something about his personal feelings and memories. Uschi Demeter works as a journalist, author and curator for contemporary art. She accompanied her Ex-husband Reinhold Messner by many Himalaya expeditions. For the Expo in Saragossa Uschi Demeter curated the exhibition »El mundo del hielo« for Reinhold Messner with the artists Olafur Eliasson, Doug Aitken und Hamish Fulton. Christian Ganzenberg studie cultural studies and worked till 2011 for the Daimler Art Collection. At the moment he writes his thesis about artist books and artist writings and about relations between text and image of art in the 1960s. The artist talk takes place within the presentation of his artwork in the Chesa Merleda in La Punt and in the Tschudi Gallery in Zuoz.
